In his article

"Top 5 In-Demand Tech Skills For Jobs In 2023?"

Bernard Marr - a world-renowned futurist, influencer and thought leader in the fields of business and technology -  describes 5 major Skill Sets you will need to acquire to stay relevant in nowadays business.

These 5 skill sets are:

  1. Data Communicator/ Storyteller

Artificial intelligence plays a key part in all of the skills mentioned here – specifically, the ability to work alongside AI in a manner that is today frequently described as "augmented working."

Well, how would YOU call that last skill set/job role?! There is no commonly used description therefore yet ...

In their latest article called "Seven Non-Technical Enterprise AI Career Paths" the authors at EMERJ created the following list:

  • AI Strategist
  • AI Opportunity Spotter
  • Functional Subject Matter Expert
  • AI Project Manager
  • AI Educator
  • AI Trainer
  • AI Training Orchestrator

I would vote for any of the bold-marked roles or maybe a combination of them. My own term for that kind of job role is "AI to Business Translator"!

Most of the A.I. initiatives do fail or won't get even started, cause there is no one besides the technical guys like all the data engineers and scientists, who is able to explain the organization - starting with the management! - why implementing an Enterprise A.I. Strategy and/or developing an A.I.-based solution/product might be the best way for the given situation.

Choosing the "United States Artificial Intelligence Institute (USAII)" and going for one of their programs might be the best decision for your career you ever made.

And again please do not take just my words; USAII has been featured in various Tech Magazines for Best AI Certifications:

McKinsey just released their

"The state of A.I. in 2022"

report and took a closer look at the A.I. talent tales:

New hot roles, continued diversity woes

Our first detailed look at the AI talent picture signals the maturation of AI, surfaces the most common strategies organizations employ for talent sourcing and upskilling, and shines a light on AI’s diversity problem—while showing yet again a link between diversity and success.

Hiring is a challenge, but less so for high performers

All organizations report that hiring AI talent, particularly data scientists, remains difficult. AI high performers report slightly less difficulty and are hired in some roles, like machine learning engineers, more often than in other organizations.

Reskilling and upskilling are common alternatives to hiring

When it comes to sourcing AI talent, the most popular strategy among all respondents is reskilling existing employees. Nearly half are doing so. Recruiting from top-tier universities as well as from technology companies that aren’t in the top tier, such as regional leaders, are also common strategies. But a look at the strategies of high performers suggests organizations might be best served by tapping as many recruiting channels as possible. These companies are doing more than others to recruit AI-related talent from various sources. The findings show that while they’re more likely to recruit from top-tier technical universities and tech companies, they’re also more likely to source talent from other universities, training academies, and diversity-focused programs or professional organizations.
